Premiere of “Wdowy”

Theatre of Imagination Novum invites you to our next premiere, an adaptation of Sławomir Mrożek’s black comedy “Wdowy – (“Widows”) by Dora Kościuk-Borkowski.

Sławomir Mrożek, Polish playwright and satirist recognized all over the world (born: 1930, Poland; died 2013, France), was known for his subtle parody, grotesque storytelling and stylized language.

Theatre of Imagination will present one of his most funniest, twisted works about a meeting among four widows after their husbands’ deaths, who lost their lives as a result of a duel.

The play comes to life with the recognizable musical theme from Georges Bizet’s opera Carmen, the famous “The Habanera”.

We cordially invite you to the premiere on March 28 at 6pm.

Tickets $ 25, available from Kasia (860) 214-2885, Ewa (860) 374-8015, and Polish National Home.
