Eight to the Bar has been delighting fans all over. Influenced by American roots music – boogie-woogie, swing and Motown – Eight to the Bar performs outstanding instrumentals and sophisticated vocal and musical arrangments.

“With the support of independently produced CDs and videos, Eight to the Bar has cultivated a large, enthusiastic following that has put them in clubs from Maine to Miami as well as Europe and the Caribbean. Their rigorous touring schedule has included opening spots for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Manhattan Transfer, Robert Cray, the late Roy Orbison and Ray Charles, several European tours, and most recently, a tour of the Republic of Georgia at the invitation of the U.S. Embassy located there.” – Credit: EightToTheBar.com

Bourbon County Brand Stout is on Tap

One Barrel. One Tap. A flowing stream of craft beer decadence!

The #HartfordPNH has Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout on tap in our authentic 1930 Polish Pub.

We agree with Beer Affair (BeerAffair.com), this a craft stout that must be respected:

“Big, boozy, chocolatey notes swirl among bourbon heat and sweetness, with the roasty character and thick, syrupy body of the malt balancing things out. Sticky, supple and self-indulgent, this is the stout from whence all barrel-aged stouts came, and you must respect it.”

The release of this beer this year was more akin to rock event than a craft beer release, and for good reason – It is an exquisite and unique stout that will charm the pants off most sophisticated craft beer palates.

Brewer’s Notes
Brewed in honor of the 1000th batch at our original Clybourn brewpub. A liquid as dark and dense as a black hole with thick foam the color of a bourbon barrel. The nose is an intense mix of charred oak, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and smoke. One sip has more flavor than your average case of beer.

Style: Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout
ABV: 14.1
IBU: 60
Color: Midnight

Malts: 2-Row, Black Malt, Caramel, Chocolate, Munich 10, Roasted Barley

Polish National Home's Hartford PNH FavoritePORK
We proudly serve quality White Marble Farms pork. We could cut our costs and procure a cheaper brand, but we prefer to embrace quality. Our members and guests appreciate it, too!

Here’s why we like White Marble Farms and why Hartford PNH pork dishes are a favorite:

  • Natural: It’s all natural and minimally processed to deliver maximum flavor. There are no artificial or added ingredients, no fillers, no preservatives, nor added hormones.
  • Quality: Consistent coloring and generous marbling provide exceptional culinary performance, which means our guests consistently enjoy a quality, tasty dish.
  • Family-owned Farms: 20 family-owned farms diligently care for their pigs in temperature controlled environments and adhere to sustainable practices. These smaller farms allow the farmers to devote individualized attention to the animals and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
