Who are Corporate Members?
Corporate Members are individuals who:

  • Participate in the management and direction decisions of the corporation, the Polish National Home of Hartford, Inc (Hartford PNH), by way of voting for the Hartford PNH Board of Directors, amendments to the Certificate of the corporation, and the Bylaws of the corporation.
  • Enjoy access to and use of Hartford PNH facilities
  • Enjoy event discounts.
  • Accrue reward points redeemable for food or beverages at the Hartford PNH
  • Must be of Polish descent by birth or adoption, or married to an individual of Polish descent.

Who are Social Members?
Social Members are individuals who:

  • Are anyone with an appreciation for Polish culture.
  • Enjoy access to and use of Hartford PNH facilities
  • Enjoy event discounts.
  • Accrue reward points redeemable for food and beverages at the Hartford PNH.
  • Are of any background or descent.
  • Have no voting privileges concerning the Hartford PNH

There are two Corporate Members’ meetings during the year:

  1. Annual meeting normally held at the end of February, when the voting for the Board of Directors takes place
  2. Semi annual members’ meeting normally held at the end of August, which includes a review of our finances and items of importance, and member feedback.

The Polish National Home of Hartford is made up of 3 types of members:

Social Members

Social Membership is open to anyone that has a love for or an appreciation of Polish culture and traditions. Social Members are not entitled to vote, but enjoy most of Corporate Membership benefits (see below).

Social members may use the dining room and bar during normal operating hours and invite guests to accompany them. They may reserve the use of the ballroom, dining room and bar facilities for private parties when they are available. Social Members may also attend any regular or special social events at the Polish Home. All members receive redeemable points for their purchases of food and beverages. Visit often and use your accumulated points to get FREE food and non-alcoholic drinks

Corporate Members

Corporate Membership is open to anyone of Polish descent by birth or adoption, or married to an individual of Polish descent. Corporate Members are entitled to vote for Polish Home’s board of directors and to vote on any amendments to its documents of incorporation or bylaws.

Corporate Members may use the dining room and bar during normal operating hours and invite guests to accompany them. They may reserve the use of the ballroom, dining room and bar facilities for private parties when they are available. Corporate Members may also attend any regular or special social events at the Polish Home. All members receive redeemable points for their purchases of food and beverages. Founding Organization Members

Founding Organization Membership is restricted to the remaining eight active founding organizations of the Polish National Home. Each of these organizations is allowed one representative on the Polish Home board of directors. As of January 1, 2012, the organizations are:

  • The Polish American Democratic Club
  • The Polish American Republican Club
  • Polish Army Veterans Association Post 119
  • The Polish National Alliance of America Council 58
  • The Polish National Alliance of America Group 464
  • The Polish Women’s Alliance of America Council 8
  • The Polish Women’s Alliance of America Group 280
  • The SS. Cyril and Methodius Men’s Club
